What it does in ContentPulse: Will let you push generated content into Buffer's queue, so Buffer handles the scheduling and cross-posting across the social accounts you've already configured there. Status: Coming soon Tier: Will be available on Pro and higher.
Before you start (prerequisites — when it ships)
- Account requirement: A Buffer account at https://buffer.com. Buffer's free plan limits you to 3 social channels and 10 scheduled posts per channel; paid plans start around USD 6/channel/month (check https://buffer.com/pricing for current pricing).
- Connected social accounts in Buffer: Whatever you want to publish to (Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, etc.) must already be connected in Buffer. ContentPulse pushes to Buffer; Buffer pushes to the actual social networks.
- Cost: Free (within Buffer's free-tier limits) to Buffer's paid plans.
Step-by-step setup
This integration isn't live yet. When it ships, the connection flow will be standard Buffer OAuth.
Why use Buffer alongside ContentPulse? Buffer is a scheduling-first tool with strong support for visual posts, Instagram Reels, Pinterest pins, and other formats ContentPulse doesn't natively publish to. If you've already invested in Buffer for your scheduling workflow, this integration lets you keep using it.
What you'll be able to do once connected
- Send ContentPulse-generated text to Buffer as a new queued post.
- Specify which Buffer channels (Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.) the post goes to.
- Let Buffer's scheduling logic determine when it goes out.
Restrictions (planned)
- We push to Buffer; we don't read from Buffer. Engagement data still has to come from the underlying social platforms.
- Buffer's free plan has a 10-post-per-channel queue limit. ContentPulse won't bypass that.
