What it does in ContentPulse: Will let you publish newsletter posts to your Substack publication. Status: Coming soon Tier: Will be available on Suite and higher.
Before you start (prerequisites — when it ships)
- Account requirement: A Substack publication you own or edit, at https://substack.com.
- API access: Substack does not currently offer a public, documented API for publishing. ContentPulse's Substack integration will use one of: (a) Substack's RSS-based draft import, (b) an email-to-publish workflow, or (c) a future official API if Substack releases one. We'll pick the most reliable path once we begin implementation.
- Cost: Free. Substack doesn't charge for API/draft import.
Step-by-step setup
This integration isn't live yet. The connection details depend on which method Substack supports at launch time.
Why is this taking longer than the others? Substack has been quiet about public API plans. We're tracking their developer announcements and will ship the integration through the most stable mechanism available. Email [support@helloaurora.ai](mailto:support@helloaurora.ai) if you'd like to discuss early-access workarounds (e.g. exporting from ContentPulse as Markdown and pasting into Substack's editor — works today, just not automated).
What you'll be able to do once connected
- Publish text-only newsletter drafts to your Substack publication.
- (Possibly) schedule send times if Substack's API supports it.
Restrictions (planned)
- Newsletter-style long-form content only — no comment posting, no chat threads.
- Subscriber list management stays in Substack.
Want early access?
